Young Children’s
Ministry
Our Young Children's Ministry is one the
best in all of College Park as we have
well-qualified, safe, loving staff who
teach GOD'S WORD through Bible stories,
songs, crafts, activities & prayer.
Each month the children in the Nursery,
Sunday School and Junior Church will focus
on a particular theme where they will
be engaged in the teachings surrounding
that theme. It is our goal, by teaching
different aspects of one monthly theme
each week, the children will gain a strong
understanding of God's love through pivotal
Bible lessons. We welcome your children
to any of these opportunities. Click the

Kids in Play
Attention all Moms and Dads, if you're looking
for a great ministry that you and your little
ones can do together, the Kids in Play Ministry
is for you. Moms and kids meet at the church
playground every Wednesday morning from
9:30 am to 11:00 am. Don't miss out on the
chance to spend time with other moms and
dads and give the children an opportunity
to play. |

Children's Worship
Bulletin
Each weekly bulletin provides quiet age-appropriate
activities based on lessons from the church
year calendar. It is aimed for those ages
3-6 and ages 7-12. This allows children
to feel just as important as the "grown
ups", receiving bulletins of their
own. The usher will be distributing the
bulletins before each service. |

Children's
Pew Packs
They are available in the back of the Sanctuary

These canvas bags are filled with Christian
stories, coloring books, and quiet activities. |

Wonders of Worship
A small prize will be given to each child
under 12 who turns in a list of 3 key points
from each sermon at least twice a month.
The list must be dated and titled with each
sermon and turned into the usher, Miss Sara
or Miss Nancy F at the end of the service
for "grading." |

Parenting In
The Pew
We have recently purchased two copies of
the book Parenting in the Pew by Robbie

July/August
Teachings
Each month the children focus on a particular
theme where they are engaged in creative
lessons surrounding that theme. It is our
goal, by teaching different aspects of that
theme each week, the children will gain
a strong understanding of God’s love
through the pivotal true Bible stories.
The Bible lessons surrounding both Abraham
and Joseph focus on the idea that God wants
us to have faith and make us better able
to help others who are also going through
hard tests. God is in control of all things
and has a special plan He is carrying out
in our lives. When hard things come into
our life, we can get angry with God, feel
discouraged or disobey His word. These attitudes
show weak faith. But when we realize God
is in control and we put our faith in Him,
we’ll obey even though we don’t
understand. He will provide strength and
courage and all that is needed to get through.
